openSUSE like restart options

Hi!

Some people asked me how to have openSUSE like restart options in Debian or Ubuntu. Here is small tutorial! I found that, this is radically simple to do:

$ kdesudo systemsettings

In System Settings open Advanced tab. Under System open Login manager. Open "Shutdown" (or something like that - it's the 4th tab). In Boot manager selection select GRUB or LILO (depends which one you use, default in Debian is GRUB). Apply changes and exit SystemSettings.

Logout and restart KDM (Alt+E should work I think, othervise Ctrl+Alt+F1, login, sudo /etc/init.d/kdm restart).

Next time you have so wanted restart options.
